DELFTS BLAUW STORIES

An exhibition of the month-long residency Write@EKWC at the invitation of Watershed

My studio was a haven: good light, large frame. I used it as an alchemical place to work out my interdisciplinary questions - I moved the large rolling rack into the middle and bisected the space to host movement and performative inquiries as well as space for clay-making, drawing, dreaming with my morning coffee. The lack of ample wifi in the exact location made me more devout. When I was there, I was there.

An excerpt from “Monday - Monday”

While I waited for the clay to dry or for a kiln to open, I turned to other artistic inquiries. I’d never spent any time sketching or otherwise drawing, but something opened up and these sketches emerged as studies.
