DELFTS BLAUW STORIES
Gratefulness abounds as I consider the depth of investment I’ve received from people I’ve just met.
First, and forcefully, to Juliet Gagnon and her exquisite, deep heart. This would not be possible without your great imagination, spirit, kindness, and excitement. I am forever changed by your friendship and curation. Thank you, Watershed.
And, to the EKWC participants and staff present from 6 October to 2 November 2022, I thank you for your wisdom, laughter, meals, and ideas. You have also set me on a path to deepen and sustain as an artist.
Sunday.
Upon twilight the bodies form more fully; supple and fleshly.
They are fully realized like phantoms disembarking a fabled tram
Our centering table holds neurons from vast reaches. The tentacled histories finding port.
In the twilight we revert to our cherub bodies, giggly and capricious.
We accept secretive looks and share the pangs of forged fired things:
Tribe.

Jerron Herman is an artist who has never ever worked with clay before, but BABY believe he will try again. Usually a dancer, Jerron has spent hours pressing clay, mixing glazes, and drinking espresso. He can be seen as either the first or last at dinner due to his close quarters to the kitchen. His awards include a 2 week residency with Stitching Rick’s bikes/tricycles, as well as being an audience member of Marina Abramovic’s performance of No Intermission at Carre in Amsterdam.
